Today, we fought our way through the smoke to get to the YMCA for our monthly fitness tests with Mary! "It's fun," said Jalapeño Superhero. We began the day by picking a Muscle of the Month. For September we picked Lats! (Or latimuss Dorsi muscles). We warmed up by working our lats on the exercise balls! Then after lunch we walked up to the Y. Everyone completed our fitness tests, which included things like push-ups, sit-ups, and jumping jacks. "I did 25 push-ups," said Meat. Well done, Meat, no pun intended. "I did 12 push-ups," said Mario, who is just being modest, since the writer of this blog post is pretty sure he did more. "Stretch!" Dirty D reminded us all. Good idea, Dirty D!
