Today we made superfood no-bake cookies and juiced fruit and veggies at the co-op! We learned what a superfood was and got to eat our tasty treats. How fun!

Today we left the planning up to the members! We decided as a group to warm up with an exercise ball dance party, then we took it down a notch and did some relaxing yoga stretches. Finally we headed up to the YMCA and got our sweat on with some basketball and cardio machines. It was a relaxing and fun day at the 365 Program!

We started off the day with some meditative yoga for a warmup! Then we walked all the way to the batting cages (which is quite a long walk!), and hit a bunch of baseballs! It was so fun!

One of our other members hit a lot of baseballs today! Way more than she expected! Go you! ⚾️
Today we learned a lot about gardening inside and started our winter indoor garden! We've noticed that it's pretty cold outside, but we still wanted to see things grow and eat garden-fresh vegetables! We started the day off by warming up with a long walk, then we created a homemade chia pet, DIY watering cans, and we planted our seedlings! We even started an avocado pit to see if it would sprout! We'll keep you updated 😆🌱

We were a small but strong group today Climbing at the YMCA! All of us pushed the limit and really made an effort to achieve our personal goals.
I feel like I accomplished my goal twice! I rang the bell, and made it to the top twice! -Tim

I liked trying rock climbing for the first time. I would do it again. -C
20th Century bowling is a favorite spot for us at The Max Higbee Center.

Walking for fitness!
PARTY HEARTY! Today was our first 5k training for 365 fitness program. We can't wait to train for this event. It's so exciting that the theme has changed to Party 🎉 Hearty ❤️

We created our monthly target 🎯 goals today! Then we talked about the different warm ups we could do in November. Some examples are stretching with mats, standing stretches, weights, sit-ups, cardio, dancing, and meditation! November is going to be full of new experiences and also going back to basics and practicing what we already know! We all agree that it is important to practice so we can get better, but also try new things to broaden our horizons.
As a group, the consensus was to walk to the beach for our warm up! Then we walked to the Y and had a fitness test day with Mary. It was fun!
