Today, the Healthy Lifestyles gang went to the YMCA to participate in the Gentle Yoga Stretch Class. We used chairs to do supported yoga in this class with other community members! Using the chairs made us feel successful in our yoga practice. There were also opportunities to stand up and use the chair for balance. We felt safe, and we'd love to do it again!

Before we left the Max Higbee Center, we made a grocery shopping list of all of the different things we wanted in our stir-fries. We decided on jalapeños, peppers, zucchini, carrots, and onion! We also grabbed some pork and rice. We all prepared the ingredients together and made our own personal stir-fries! YUM!

We started of our day by creating a rock climbing stretch routine. We stretched our hamstrings and quads, arm muscles, and our backs. We even fit in a little watermelon tai chi🍉 After our stretching, we walked up to the YMCA and rock climbed for two hours. WHAT A WORKOUT!
